Prügeltorten Behind the Scenes at the Prügeltortenmanufaktur

Baking over an open fire, just like in the old days
Delve into the fascinating world of Prügeltorte baking and experience a special event for culinary enthusiasts. In the factory, you will see how traditional Tyrolean Prügeltorten are baked over an open fire – just like in the old days. After the exciting demonstration, you can enjoy the sweet delicacy with a cup of coffee (juice for children) and gain exclusive insights into the bakery.
Prügeltorte: A piece of Tyrolean cultural heritage: The exact origin of this sweet delicacy remains a mystery, but one thing is certain: it has long achieved cult status! Master patissier Janette Klausner and her team still craft the Prügeltorte today by hand with great skill and experience through several baking stages. They place particular emphasis on sustainability. All ingredients come from selected local businesses.
Traditional, regional & honest: each Prügeltorte is a unique piece – hand-cut, lovingly packaged, and due to its special baking method, it remains fresh for weeks. Its unadulterated flavour makes it the perfect gift or souvenir for locals, guests, and the hospitality industry.
