In the Alpbachtal there are many opportunities to find peace and recharge your batteries. On our contemplation paths or on the Way of St. James, which leads through Breitenbach, immerse yourself in nature and let your soul dangle.
An extraordinary place of strength is the Rosenkranzkapelle (Rosary Chapel) at Josef Stolls farm in Reith im Alpbachtal. He has fitted his chapel with a "rosary machine" a kind of rosary prayer jukebox, thet can play four different prerecorded rosary prayers. The Mühlbach Trail in Alpbach and the Grünangerl Reflection Trail in Münster also provide for contemplation combined with exercise. Be inspired and pick up some tips!
Churches, monasteries & chapels
Each individual building is an architectural jewel. Not only the pious find tranquillity in the centuries-old churches - most of them are located in the midst of beautiful nature and are therefore also popular power spots.
Visit the Catholic Mariathal pilgrimage church with its baroque architectural style and admire its special interior, decorated in the colours black and gold. The Way of the Cross leads along the old monastery walls up to Kalvarienberg. Or visit the Hilariberg monastery, which is somewhat concealed on the mountain in the woods in Kramsach.
