Gufferthütte
The Gufferthütte at 1.475 m between the Halserspitze and the Guffert is a shelter hut belonging to the Deutschen Alpenvereins, department Mühldorf.
The hut can accommodate 57 people in 20 beds and 37 dormitory sleeping berths.
A choice of hiking tours start from the hut.
The Gufferthütte is surrounded by numerous Alpine pasture huts between the Rofan and the Blaubergen and is a rewarding goal for families with children, hikers and mountain bikers. Traditional specialities, excellent Reutberger beers, magnificent wines from the wine cellar or other delicious drinks await the hungry and thirsty.

Arrival
The shortest way to reach the Gufferthütte is from the "Köglboden" car park on the road between Achenkirch and Steinberg. Hiking routes to the Gufferthütte lead from Wildbad Kreuth, Achenwald and the Kaiserhaus in Brandenberg.Â
