Guided snow shoe hike in Alpbach

During the guided snowshoe hike in Alpbach you will not only stop at the most beautiful viewing spots, but will also be treated to a culinary greeting from the Alpbachtal. The snack containing regional products tastes twice as good when taken in together with views over the Tyrolean mountains.

• The snowshoe equipment and the snack are included in the price.
• The guided snowshoe hike starts from the Alpbach tourist office every Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
• In case of lack of snow an alternative hike is programmed to replace the snow shoe hike.

Starting from Inneralpbach „Galtenberg" ski lift car park follow the ski route 66 up valley. Please keep to one side of the track - beware of skiers! Take the forest road (Gasthof Leitner car park; this is where the tour starts if one has driven to this point) leading gently uphill alongside the stream to the "Greiter Alm". (please note: do not take a right turn! Leave the ski route 66!). In a loop cross the field to reach and cross a bridge and continue to the "Salcheralm" and back out the valley. Continue hiking past on the right hand side of a hut and at the next hut to the left of the hut until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and hike back to the start.
