Weekender 2-day tour in the Rofan Range

Experience an unforgettable 2-day hike in the majestic Rofan Range that will challenge even experienced mountaineers. With a total altitude of 2400 metres and breathtaking views, this tour offers an incomparable adventure in the Tyrolean mountains.

Day 1: 

The hike starts in Münster and first leads to the Schermsteinalm, where you can reward yourself with a wonderful panoramic view (no food or drinks served). From there, the route continues to the Sagzahn and then to the Vorderer Sonnwendjoch, where you can experience the rugged beauty of the mountains. After a challenging but rewarding hike, you will finally reach the Bayreuther Hütte, where you will spend the night (please note: reservations are essential!). The approx. 5-hour hike offers a variety of landscapes and differences in altitude that will make your heart beat faster.

Day 2: 

After a good nights rest in the Bayreuther Hütte, set off for the new peaks on the horizon. From the hut, the trail leads via the Zireiner Almen and the Roßkogel, where once again you will be rewarded with breathtaking views. The route continues towards Pletzachkogel and finally to the Kniepass Chapel. Treat yourself to a well-earned break. The last section of the tour takes you through the picturesque Grünsbach Valley before you finish your adventure in Grünsbach. On this day too, you will be out and about for approx. 5 hours, enjoying the beauty and diversity of the Tyrolean mountains from anew.
