Alpbach Nature & Heritage Trail
Learn more about your hosts home, Austria's Most Beautiful Village on this beautiful circular walk.
The structured and signposted walking path around the village gives an insight into Alpbachs history, the life of its people and about the villages' flora and fauna. Discover step-by-step what makes Alpbachso unique.
Walk past the hotel Alpbacher Hof and turn right at the fork after the small bridge. Cross the „Mühlbach” bridge and turn left onto the „Mühlbach” Path of Contemplation. Stay on the A3 walking alongside the “Hösl” stream to a barbecue facility, children’s play area and small Kneipp facility. Continue along the „Lärchen” path past the „Thierberg” farms, Bradenberg, Trat and back to the village.
This path is not suitable for pushchairs / buggies, but it is nevertheless one of the most popular walks for families.
