Quench your thirst for knowledge and at the same time enjoy some gentle exercise: our learning paths provide for ideally suited activities. On the Kramsach Fitness Mile you can work on your motor skills and sense of balance. The Easy Learning Trail to Lake Berglstein, on the other hand, increases concentration with 12 exercises along the way. And you and your family are always on the playful go at Juppi’s Enchanted Forest and its buggy-friendly circular trail on the Reither Kogel.
On a treasure hunt with GPS
Welcome to geocaching! You will find exciting routes throughout the region which allow you to go on location-based tour of discovery with tricky tasks along the way. All you need is a GPS-enabled smartphone, some time and skills! Embark on Juppi’s Treasure Hunt or the Alpbacher Heimatweg, or get to the bottom of the Legend of Lake Berglstein!

Juppi´s treasure hunt
Juppi´s treasure hunt is considered an easy multi-cache. The seven family friendly "caches" are distributed along a three km long route through Reith im Alpbachtal. How long you take depends entirely on you - from two hours to all day, each location is of special interest or beauty.
To find the treasure you need to find the destination coordinate. At each location you will find an indication bringing you closer to your goal! This SUMMER CACHE ist open from June - October

The SILVERSTAR hunt is considered an intermediate multi-cache. The seven "caches" lead along a circular hiking trail in Alpbach over approx. four km and 270 m elevation difference, past mysterious places where a plane crashed in 1944. How long you take depends entirely on you. Normally, you can cover the distance in a comfortable 1.5 hours. However, you should allow yourself a little more time for the game.

ALPBACHER HEIMATWEG is a moderately difficult multi-cache. The seven "caches" along a circular hiking trail of approx. 4.5 km and 200 m elevation differnce lead through beautiful scenery. Information boards give an insight into the life of the people of Alpbach, then and now. Normally you can complete this tour in 2.5 hours. However, you should allow a little more time for the treasure hunt.

SPURLOS IM ALPBACHTAL is considered an easy multi-cache. The eight "caches" are distributed along the approx. four km long route from Alpbach to Inneralpbach, past beautiful farms and locations of the Wildbach TV series. Normally you can cover this distance in a leisurely 1.5 hours. But you should allow more time for the game. The quickest way back is by bus (no. 620), which leaves every hour and takes you back to the village centre in ten minutes.

Die Sage vom Berglsteinersee (the legend of Lake Berglstein)
A secret tip for anyone in search of tranquility is the idyllic Lake Berglstein – nestled in the woods above Kramsach and Breitenbach. Find the cache hidden somewhere around the lake. Tip: the hike to Lake Berglstein is ideal for families. From the Reintalersee Mitte car park (parking fees apply) follow the "Leichter-Lernen" trail, which leads directly to the lake.

The Egon Schiele cache is well worth the trip. Following a short walk, the treasure sign the log and enjoy the view over Rattenberg. This cache follows in the footsteps of the great Austrian artist. If you find the cache, you can also see the painting that Egon Schiele created in 1917. The cache is accessible around the clock, but the viewpoint on the Schlossberg is only accessible from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
