Kristallbrauerei Alpbach

The Kristallbrauerei in Inneralpbach is a one-man brewery producing approx. 500 hl top quality unfiltered beer annually. The name Kristallbier comes from the Alpbach Kristallwasser (crystal water) used to brew the beer.

He brews four different Kristall beers: Zwickl, Weizen, Keller, Bockbier and various seasonal beers such as the Osterbock. The beers are bottled in 15-litre, 30-litre and 50-litre barrels and in 2-litre, 3-litre and 5-litre refillable swing-top bottles.

A perfect way to cool off after a day of hiking in the Alpbachtal is to pay Jos Moser a visit. His brewery is located right next to the bus stop at the Pöglbahn bottom station in Inneralpbach. Standing at one of the bar tables, between beer tanks and bottling plants the hiker's reward tastes all the better. Jos has many an interesting story to tell.

Not to be missed! Every Friday at approx. 5:00 p.m. Jos serves freshly grilled chicken.
