Saw mill Andreas Moser
The small family run sawmill went into business in 1924.
In 1924, the small saw in Inneralpbach went into operation. Today Andreas Moser still works with some of the equipment of his grandfather and father, who also practised the craft. Andreas Moser produces oversized timber sizes, special sawn timber for balconies, roof trusses and terrace floors.
His showpiece is the horizontal log band saw from the 1970s. It cuts tree trunks up to 1.30 metres in diameter. He repaired and spruced it up himself, of course. He operates the old machines manually. He sharpens and sets up the saw blades himself.
In addition to the pleasant smell of freshly cut wood, you can also view his wood artwork at the sawing mill. Individual guided tours are possible by appointment, tel. +43 664 5186078.
