Drive from Brixlegg via Zimmermoos, past the Schwarzenberg chapel along a forest road to the car park at the Berggasthof Holzalm car park.
The path leads from the car park past the Holzalm. Follow the signs behind the hut to Gratlspitze. Take the path leading through the woods and continue uphill through pine woods to the "Ernarast" and on to the peak (approx. 1 h 45 min.). Walk back the same way. The peak is known as an ideal 360 degree vantage point and is popular with hikers looking to take in a sunrise! Discover this magical sunrise spot on your own and hike up the 1.899 m high peak that towers over the village of Alpbach. The panorama from the peak is gorgeous. Admire the Großer Galtenberg - the highest peak in the Kufstein district - numerous other mountain ranges such as the Karwendel and the Hohe Tauern peaks.
