Gratlspitze with Hösljoch and Berggasthof Holzalm
Tour offering spectacular views and 360° panorama
The hike starts in Alpbach and leads along the Alpbacher Heimatweg A3 on to the A23 to the Hösljoch and the Hösl Chapel. From the chapel follow the A27 to Gratlspitze.
Take in the wonderful views and the 360° panorama from Gratlspitze (1899 m). You can see towards the Wilder Kaiser, Kitzbüheler Alps, Ziller and Tuxertal Alps and to the Rofan and Karwendel Ranges. It will be hard to find views more beautiful than the ones from the Gratlspitez. Take your time to enjoy the atmosphere high up at the peak cross or on the giant bench and recharge your batteries.
Take the no. 10 hiking route down to the rustic Berggasthof Holzalm. Surrounded by cows, chickens and healthy Alpine air the schnitzel tastes even better. Strengthened, continue along trail A18 via the Außerhauseralm towards Bischoferhütte/Bischofer Käsalm. The A6 leads back down to the village centre.
Note: walking time 5 h 30 min
