Voldöpper Spitze from Brandenberg
Pleasant hike with superb views over the Inn Valley, Rofan Range, Kitzbüheler, Ziller and Stubaiertaler Alps
The Voldöppberg in Kramsach stands proud at 1,509 m. Hardly any other peak offers such a beautiful view of the entire Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains. In addition, the peak is a little insider tip for all hikers who are already looking for a summit experience in spring or even later in autumn. Due to its orientation, it is one of the first snow-free mountains.
Take the winding forest track no. 6 from the beginning of the village of Brandenberg (toboggan run hut) and after approx. 15 min turn onto the hiking path that merges into a forest track. Follow the signs for Voldöppberg and along the "Pensionistensteig" to a small hut and the peak (approx. 1 h 45 min). Walk back the same way; at the hut one can also take the path to the right.
From the summit you are rewarded with an outstanding panorama. The view stretches across the Inn Valley to the Rofan Range, the Guffert, the Ziller and Stubai Alps and down to Brandenberg. The grassy slope around the summit is the perfect spot to unpack your rucksack and have a picnic.
Return on the same route or take the path to the right of the log hut.
