Achen Mariathal loop
Pleasant looped trail along the Brandenberg stream with special spots to pause for a break
From there, it's worth taking a detour to the nearby pilgrimage church, Basilica Mariathal. This historic church not only impresses with its architecture but also invites a moment of peace and reflection.
The journey continues to the Kneipp facility, a picturesque spot where you can dip your feet in the cool water and take a short break. Following that, you’ll reach the Kramsach Fitness Mile, which features a beautiful forest path and several fitness stations. Here, you can choose to get active at the stations or simply enjoy the tranquility of the forest and gaze at the tall treetops.
The circular hike concludes back at the starting point, and there are several dining options along the way to round off your hike. The Gasthaus Mariathal near the pilgrimage church, the Liftstüberl at the start and end of the fitness mile, Hotel Jagdhof, and the Tennis-Pool-Arena near the Kneipp facility all offer excellent spots for a well-deserved rest.
This tour combines nature, culture, and relaxation—ideal for a leisurely day outdoors.
