Voldöpper Spitze from Lake Berglstein
Gentle ascent to the Voldöpper Spitze from nature's jewel Lake Berglstein in Breitenbach.
The route leads to a forest track, which you then follow uphill. Past the Schintlburg ruins, the forest road leads westwards, constantly uphill. Above the large electricity pylons, you can shorten the path and turn right onto a trail, but if you prefer a more leisurely hike, stay on the forest track. The trail crosses the forest track once and then continues until you once again reach the forest track. Keep to the left hiking past the idyllically located Heumösern Alm (nice place to rest) and to the next signpost.
The ascent to the Voldöpper Spitze now leads quickly upwards. At a clearing, you will reach a small hut, which, if's windy at the peak is another good place to take a break. From here it is only about 20 minutes to the summit, just follow the trail uphill.
Return via the same route back to the car park. Reward yourself with a stop at the idyllic restaurant "Berglsteinersee 712er Lounge", located directly on the picturesque lake.
